Gilad and I would just like to throw a semi apology out there. A) to those who have been keeping up with our blog as they may have been subject to listening to our whining over the past little while. B) to those who might actually be considering coming over here and have now been put off.
Let us just clarify that this is an experience that we couldn't get elsewhere and it is one that has taught us a lot. We get anxious to get home but that is because it is this place that has shown us what we want to go home to and what we want to plan for the future.
Really, we are city people living in a small town. We are humanitarians working for business people. And we are hardworking, friendly people who do not enjoy being snubbed by coworkers on a daily basis. Throw in the daily destruction by our dogs, and sometimes we just get caught up in our frustrations. We work hard for our school, that is for sure, but it is legit. It is reliable and that is one of the most important things in your Korea experience. If you are planning on coming to Korea, just really think of what kind of person you are and don't sacrifice your desires. Making a few extra dollars to live in a small town, when you love the city feel is just not worth it.
P.S. If anyone knows anything about dogs and separation anxiety let us know! We are losing our sanity and our apartment as we speak.
